Susan Millington

Sue Millington began her dance training locally with her aunt, Lucy Parker.

Sue toured the United States and Canada as a member of the Manhattan Rockets, appearing with Bob Hope, the Smothers Brothers, and other celebrities.

She studied ballet at the School of the Pennsylvania Ballet Company. While residing in Illinois, she took teaching courses sponsored by the Cechetti Council and began her career as a teacher. After moving back to New Jersey, Sue directed the Regency Ballet School in Mantua, NJ for eleven years.

In 1996 she completed a training course for teachers of classical dance held at Bryn Mawr College. The course covered Grades 1 through V of the Vaganova syllabus set forth by the Pedagogical Methodology Committee of the Vaganova Choreographic Institute in St. Petersburg Russia. The instructor was John White, Director of the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet.
